Presently, we recommend you
consider other rental car agencies other than Hertz for your car
rentals. Every rental car company in the country
EXCEPT Hertz supports mBB and keeps your company's rates low and
participation high. Others also offer better rates and
generally, better service. Don't let the name lure you in
and don't support a corporation that puts profits before people.
We remind our members that
BUDGET
and
AVIS
offer great rates and much better discounts
(up to 35%) than does Hertz. For example, a recent compact
car in LA was $83 a day on Hertz vs. $63 on Budget with our BCD

better rates. The reason: with Hertz's bankruptcy, a
significant portion of the Hertz fleet was sold off by court
order. This often results in availability issues in
